PASTOR JOHN HERBERT
John was born on June 21st, 1953 south of London, in the UK, at a place called Kingston-upon-Thames. Academically he has a background in teaching having a BA (Hons) degree in English and an MA in Education. John left the UK in 1991 to take up a position, first as Head of the English Faculty, and then Vice-Principal of the High School on Cayman Brac in the British West Indies. In October 1997 John became Pastor of the Crossroad United Baptist Church where he continued until February of 2005. From that time, he began working with Cornerstone Christian Fellowship of Jacksonville first as a visiting Pastor, spiritual advisor and teacher and then as the full time Pastor.
John is married to Ann, his wife of 44 years. They have two children. Thomas who lives in Basel, Switzerland with his wife, Audrey, and stepdaughter Annabel; and Lauren who lives in Grand Cayman with her husband , Milton, and three children, Elijah, Josiah and Addison.
During over 30 years in ministry, John has been afforded the privilege of teaching the Word in the USA, UK, Cuba, Honduras, Guyana, and the Cayman Islands, with continuing ministry in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and Nigeria. His weekly online Bible Studies have participants not only from the USA but also from Kenya, Uganda, Australia, Jamaica and Panama.
